A new solar farm will not be built near Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth.
State regulators have denied a proposal for the project.
A company wanted to build the farm on about 25 acres near the park, but some people in town were against the idea.

They were concerned the solar farm would destroy forestland.
They were also worried about historical stone walls and Native American artifacts.
